Terms of Service

Draft. Not yet in force.

These terms are being written. Until they are published here, your use of Relay Me during the public beta is governed by the Privacy Policy and the sending rules described below, which the product enforces today.

What the product enforces today

These are not aspirations; they are how the service behaves right now.

  • Mail is only ever delivered to an address that has confirmed it wants to receive that mailing list. Until someone confirms, every send skips them.
  • Any recipient can decline, unsubscribe, or block further requests from the links in the email we send them, without creating an account.
  • Every CLI credential is scoped to the mailing lists you grant it, and can reach no other audience.
  • Each email sent to one confirmed recipient uses one send credit. The Free plan includes one daily credit plus 10 one-time starter credits. If you have no daily or starter credits available, Relay Me refuses further sends until the daily allowance resets; it never creates an undisclosed overage.
  • Message content is discarded once a send is delivered or has failed. What is kept is operational metadata only.

Acceptable use

Relay Me is for reaching people who asked to hear from you. Do not use it to send unsolicited bulk email, to harvest or test address lists, to impersonate another person or organisation, or to distribute malware or content that is unlawful where it is received. We may suspend an account that does.

Beta status

The service is in public beta. Features may change, and paid plans are not yet available. The Free tier is the only tier you can start on, and you will not be charged while that remains true.
